R’n'B tune with a funk-feel (which i usually don’t prefer) from 1968. Great Stuff!
The B-side to “Loving good feeling”, a midtempo Detroit mover from -67.
Fantastic Northern Soul Classic from 1968. Merry X-mas to all soulies out there!
Classic uptempo Detroit stomper from -66.
B-side “I miss my baby” is just fantastic as well!
Fuzzy garage/mod tune from 1968. Great hook and soul-ish backing vocals makes this a must-have!
Great mod-dancer and absolutely a floorfiller! Here a swedish press from 1969 with a nice sleeve.

Classic blue-eyed soul that was popular at the Wigan Casino all-nighters in the early seventies. Released in1966.

One of The Whispers few tunes played on the scene, but a great one it is! Released 1969. This has the same backing track as another northern favourite by The Fuller Brothers – Time’s A Wasting – also on Soul Clock.

Fine slab of soul from the man who gave us “Skate Now” and “Hey Joyce”. The B-side “I’ve got just the thing” Is equally good (if not better)! Released in 1967.
Short but ohh so sweet mover from -66. The organ is just amazing!

Wonderful moody piece from 1965 By Pearlean Gray with The Passengers.
Fantastic fast paced mover from -65.

Released in 1967, this is an up-tempo northern soul oldie that i always play at least three times in a row – that’s how great this is! The Volumes hailed from Detroit, and lead on this song is by Jimmy Burger.

R’n'B/Mod Dancer with great vocals, first released in 1962 as a B-side (Dot 16394) and then again in 1965 as an A-side (Dot 16776). This is the swedish pressing.

Originally released on the Locket label, this is a 1970 release on CUR.
Fantastic Chicago crossover belter!
Melba Moore – Don’t cry sing along with the music
Absolutely amazing tune from -66. Can’t be anything but happy listening to this!

Awesome pounder from Pittsburgh. Great ballad on the B-side (Pick Yourself Up)!

Pounding slab of gritty R’nB! Also see “If You Wanna”, which is the flip side of this beauty that I’ve posted earlier.
